Embraced by the Algarvian hills, lies Eco-lodge Brejeira, the place for those searching for nature, peace, privacy, atmosphere and a personal approach. Experience a unique and ecological stay in a yurt or a gypsyvan, both comfortably and tastefully furnished and with private bathroom.

Do you hear the silence whisper softly in your ears? Welcome, you have arrived at Eco-lodge Brejeira. The perfect place to enjoy your holidays and savour the peace while you get to know Portugal in a unique and ecological way. Experience the true meaning of “glamping”, or glamorous camping: camping at its best, in a Mongolian Yurt or an old gipsy van. An adventure you won’t forget, experienced in comfort, surrounded by nature. Each place has storage for clothes, lamps, a power supply and water supply, and its own private bathroom. Bedlinnen and towels are provided. You can also rent our old firevan converted into cosy camper, as an extra bedroom for the kids together with the yurt or the gypsyvan, or separately, in which case it will be placed in our little valley where you have your own dry toilet and the choice between showering under an old oak-tree with cold water, or walking a bit to use our solar heated outside-shower.

At Eco-lodge Brejeira, nature comes first. To spare her, an ecological path has been chosen. Electricity is provided by sun and wind, water by our own source. Toilets, too, are ecological, the content of which ends on the compost heap. We try to use environmentally friendly products wherever possible and separate all waste. We strongly encourage guests to do likewise. Nearly all furniture and other attributes come from flee markets or second-hand shops from the area and were given a second life on Brejeira.

A small, open, straw bale building serves as a central area, where breakfast and diner can be served on demand. Guests can savour a drink there, or simply lay in the hammock and enjoy the view.

Situated in the centre of the Algarve, a stone’s throw from the relaxed town of Silves and not far from the coast and the Serra de Monchique, Eco-lodge Brejeira is the ideal base from which to explore all the beautiful places of South Portugal.

Those looking for comfort in a jacket of simplicity, wishing to feel nature’s breath tickling their neck, who would like to get to know the south of Portugal in a unique and sportive way and leave as small a footprint behind as possible; those will, like the dreamers, be embraced by Brejeira and have the feeling that they have come home, to themselves and the beautiful simplicity of life.

Meals (If Available):
You can make use of our breakfast-service, brought on location for a private breakfast, at 5 euros per person.
On request, a simple dinner is cooked once a week. Depending on your preferences, this can vary from a Portuguese barbeque to a vegetarian, organic meal.

Extras (if any):
All linen is included, as is the final cleaning.
We are very happy to provide you with information about the area and the surrounding activities. If you chose to walk a part of the Via Algarviana trail (to Silves or to Monchique, for example), we provide pick-up service at a small fee to cover fuel-expenses.

Low season: april&november.
Mid-season: 01/05-30/06&16/09-31/10.
High season: 01/07-15/09.

Yurt:
Low:30 euros a night or 200 a week.
Mid:45 euros a night or 290 a week.
High:50 euros a night or 325 a week.

Prices are based on 2 people, including bed-linnen, towels and cleaning after you leave. Each additional person costs 7,50 a night or 55 a week. Bookings for less than three nights will incur an extra bedding supplement of 12,50€.

Gypsyvan:
Low:35 euros a night or 220 a week.
Mid:50 euros a night or 315 a week.
High:55 euros a night or 350 a week.

Firevan:
Low:15 euros a night or 100 a week.
Mid:25 euros a night or 150 a week.
High:30 euros a night or 175 a week.
