We are delighted to offer for holiday accommodation this luxury, two bedroomed, self contained apartment located within our three storey villa

We are located in the small village of Quinta do Falcão just 10 minutes drive from the Knights Templar town of Tomar in Central Portugal.

From Caracara you have a gateway to explore all that Central Portugal has to offer.

The accommodation offered is extremely spacious with all items newly installed in 2009.

Bedroom 1.

This is a very good sized Master Bedroom, en-suite with a King Size bed and built in oak wardrobes. It allows direct access to the swimming pool area via patio doors.

Bedroom 2

This bedroom contains two single beds and a dresser and has its own separate shower/wc room.

A child's cot is available for the very young.

Kitchen

The accommodation has a well equipped kitchen with granite work surfaces, a Fridge/Freezer, Gas Cooker, Microwave, Kettle, Gaggia coffee machine and Toaster.

All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided.

The kitchen also has a large open plan Dining Area with a table and chairs provided.

There is a Welsh Dresser containing additional utensils.

Lounge

The accommodation has a lounge where there are two, three seater sofas, a coffee table and standard reading lamps provided

There is also a 42 inch flat screen television set up to receive all UK Freesat TV channels and radio stations as well as a DVD player.

The Lounge also has a log burning fire, ideal for those romantic evenings in Spring or Autumn.

Outside

There is secure on-site parking accessed via remotely controlled electric gates.

There is a well proportioned, purpose built BBQ building complete with an oven - ideal for roasting suckling pig, a local delicacy. A darts board has been fitted in the area for you to play when not swimming.

The swimming pool is 6 x 11 metres in size and the pool patio area has sun loungers, reclining chairs and a table, four additional chairs and a parasol.

The 3500 sq metre garden has a small jetty for fishing and a Badminton court during the Summer months. A golf practice net can be erected if required.

Windows throughout are fitted with adjustable external shutters to make rooms as dark or as light as you prefer.

Access

The main driveway and lower gardens are located on slopes so we would not recommend this property for wheelchair users or others with severe mobility problems.

Activities

The villa is located in a quiet rural location and is ideal for bird watching.

Depending upon the time of year you are likely to see amongst others Kingfishers, Owls, Bee-Eaters, Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Cormorants, Herons, Storks, Hoopoe, Red Kites etc.

Portuguese language instruction is available at extra cost.

Local Restaurants

Just a 15 minute walk from the accommodation are two cafe/bars and a good restaurant and numerous other restaurants within 5 minutes driving distance.
