A family run luxury boutique hotel, Quinta Bonita is perched high on the Matos Morenos hillside with panoramic ocean views of Lagos and Luz bays. You have a choice of 8 luxurious suites, each with private balcony or terrace, in which to unwind whilst enjoying the warmest hospitality. Find your own quiet spot in the spectacular and spacious gardens or enjoy a cool drink by the pool. Perfectly located, some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches, historic towns and stunning golf courses are all within a 10 minute drive.

Recently expanded and revitalised, at Quinta Bonita traditional charm and modern luxury blend seamlessly in idyllic surroundings to create a truly unforgettable experience.

The rooms
You have a choice of 8 spacious suites, individually designed and beautifully decorated, each with their own private terrace or balcony and fully equipped with fully stocked mini bar, air-conditioning, reverse cycle heating, flat screen TV and granite bathrooms.
King, queen and twin size beds are furnished with the finest Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy duvet and a choice of feather, down and hypoallergenic pillows. All room rates include a full buffet breakfast featuring the freshest local and organic produce and fruit from our orchard and complimentary afternoon tea daily on one of the sun drenched terraces.
For larger groups we invite you to hire the entire hotel for your very own special occasion, family gathering, wedding, and anniversary or health retreat and enjoy exclusively the warm hospitality and serene surroundings.

The grounds
Quinta Bonita is set in 10,000 square metres of spectacular gardens, including a large heated outdoor swimming pool, cobbled pathways, ponds, fountains, an orchard and event a giant Chess set. Enjoy a game of tennis or indulge in a drink from our honesty bar as you relax by the pool or on the lawn to the backdrop of the croaking frogs. Whether travelling on your own or part of a large group it is easy to find your own quiet piece of paradise.
In the winter months curl up with a book from our library in front of the large open fire or warm up with a game of tennis.

Being Green
Quinta Bonita recognises its environmental responsibility and is committed to reducing its environmental footprint. All our water is provided from our own borehole and is solar heated. Our own filtered water system provides clean water to the gardens and house whilst using recycled water for the garden irrigation. The pool maintenance and all household cleaning products are environmentally friendly. We aim to use organic products wherever possible with many herbs and fresh fruit sourced from our own land.
We provide recycling facilities for our guests with separate bins in addition to our own natural compost for vegetable and fruit waste. We are also committed to supporting the local community with, for example, fresh bread and eggs provided daily from local neighbours and wines sourced through local boutique wineries.

Discover
Quinta Bonita is perfectly located to discover all that the Algarve has to offer. The ancient port of Lagos with its castle walls, narrow, cobbled streets, pottery shops, beautiful beaches is just 7 minutes drive and the beautiful curved beach of Luz is just 5 minutes by car. For the more adventurous take one of the complimentary bikes for hire and cycle down to one of the many stunning beaches in the areas.
Boa Vista Golf Resort, one of 20 golf courses within a 15 minute drive, is located opposite Quinta Bonita with its stunning golf course, gym and health spa. If you’d rather stay closer to home we can arrange for massages and spa treatments in the comfort of your own room.
In addition there are a wide range of activities on offer in the area such as walking, surfing, cycling, scuba diving, big game fishing, dolphin watching, and dolphin swimming at Zoo Marine, horse-riding and hang-gliding.
Wherever you explore, take your own picnic hamper from Quinta Bonita complete with wine to accompany you on your adventure.
Of the major cities Faro airport is 45 minutes drive, Lisbon is 2.5 hours and Seville airport is 2.5 hours. Car hire is essential to best be able to explore the area. We can offer competitive car hire rates, airport pick-ups and/or local taxis.

Your hosts
Chantelle and Fraser continue a tradition of hospitality that stretches back more than 25 years to when the property was first purchased as a retreat for family and friends. They deliver top quality personalised service in a relaxed and friendly way. They hope that others will fall in love with QB like they have and will leave feeling like they have found a second home.

Full buffet breakfast provided daily and included in room rate. For those looking for a hot start to their day, indulge in our daily á la carte special for a small extra charge.

Light lunches provided poolside.

Picnic hampers, with wine, provided for day trips.

1 October - 31 October: 130 - 170euros per room per night
Rates are per room per night and include taxes, services and a full buffet breakfast.
For single occupancy there is a €25 reduction on the room rate
Rates for exclusive use of the property provided on request.
Specials packages such as golf, cycling, health retreats and philosophy weekends can also be arranged.
