A perfect combination of camping in nature and the comfort of a hotel room, of enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the southwest coast of the Alentejo along with the liveliness of the coastal towns. Your accommodation is a luxury furnished tent with its own bathroom and kitchen, a beautiful view and lots of private space.

All tents have electricity, hot and cold running water and are connected to our biological waste water system, which makes the waste water suitable for irrigation.
They are placed on a wooden platform, which makes them look like a 'real' room and at the same time takes care that the impact on nature is as little as possible.
All tents are furnished with a double bed and a nice seat. The main living area is outside. For kids an extra bed or a nice sleeping mattress can be added.
For families or small groups we have a group of 2 tipi's, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a sleeping couch which can sleep 2. These tipi's share the same bathroom and kitchen.

All tents have a shaded place to sit outside with a comfortable seat. And have a splendid view over the hills of the Parque Natural Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina.

Birds and butterflies abound, here you really feel in the middle of nature. It's a nice 800 meter walk to the traditional Alentejan village of Troviscais with 2 cafes, where you can sip a great Portugese coffee and watch village life go by.

In the Parque Natural there is an abundance of walking opportunities. Through the hills, along the river Mira or along the rugged coastline with it's wonderful secluded beaches, it is all tranquil and magnificent.

Beaches are only 20 minutes away, you can choose for a more crowded beach with services in one of the lively coastal towns, or for a quiet secluded beach.
The coast here is famous for surfing, but swimming and just relaxing are also great options.

Mountainbiking is really fantastic here, there are so many tracks, each with its own identity and great views. Even in high summer the temperatures in the morning allow some activity.

There are a lot of things to do in the area, but don't forget to bring a book (or more), don't leave your tent for a couple of days and just relax and experience this wonderful spot!

Where we are.
You'll find this little paradise a 2,5 hour drive south of Lisbon, or less than 2 hours northwest of Faro. It is 80 km to Lagos in the Algarve.
Troviscais is situated in between the coastal towns of Zambujeira do Mar and Vila Nova the Milfontes, about 10 km inland. The nearest town is Odemira on 16 km, with 3 big supermarkets.

Meals (If Available):
Two times a week you can join us for dinner. Meals are mostly vegetarian or with fish from the portuguese coast. We also sell a range of ingredients to prepare your own meals.

We can also provide you with a continental breakfast, brought to your tent in the morning.

Extras (if any):
All linen, bed, bath and kitchen, is included, as is the final cleaning.

We are always available to help you plan your activities and provide you with information about the area and tips and routes for hiking, mountainbiking or daytrips.

Prices are based on the number of persons mentioned. For each person extra add 5 euros to the price per night or 30 to the price per week.
