Casa Rosa, known locally as 'The House with the Million Dollar View'.

Casa Rosa is a newly renovated stone cottage situated on the land of a small holding. It has a fully fitted kitchen/diner, including microwave and washing machine.
A Welcome Pack of basic essentials including water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar etc. is provided upon arrival. It also has a shower/wet room, double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Cot is available on request and all linen is provided.
The lounge has double doors that open onto the patio where you can sit, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains & the river. It has UK & European satellite TV, DVD player & a library of films to watch.

Casa Rosa benefits from having an Infinity Swimming Pool next to the cottage, within the structure of an old barn which overlooks the mountainous conservation area and River Zezere. Deck chairs and Sunbeds provided.
Casa Rosa is set in a conservation area of wild life and outstanding beauty, overlooking the River Zezere and peninsula village of Dornes steeped in a 2000 year history, with a Roman Tower and Medieval Church. The village of Beco is a short walk from Casa Rosa where you can find cafe/bars and a mini-market.
The local town of Ferreira do Zezere is a 15 min drive away and has all the amenities you require, shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, doctors, dentist etc. A further 5 mins by car from Ferreira do Zezere is the beautiful Blue Lagoon (Lago Azul). Here you will find water sports on the River Zezere. You can swim in the River Swimming Pool and top up you tan on the floating deck. Dine at the Restaurants and cafe/bars or, picnic at the outside stone tables by the River. The historic town Tomar is a 20 min. drive from Casa Rosa. Visit its Knights Templer Castle or stroll through its Riverside park and cobbled streets. Shop until you drop (large market on Fridays), or relax by the River Nabao in the many bars and restaurants.

For out of season lets Casa Rosa has a log burner in the lounge together with electric heating in all the other rooms.
