This picturesque country cottage stands in the courtyard of the main farmhouse (occupied by the owners). Your friendly hosts will be available should you need anything but will otherwise respect your complete privacy.

The cottage is nestled in a beautiful valley in a lovely village full of warm and friendly locals.It has been sympathetically restored in a rustic style to a very high standard.

Entrance is by way of the outside steps to the first floor open plan living area.

The lovely pine kitchen was recently completed by local craftsmen. It is finished with granite worktops and is fully equipped with a four ring gas hob and oven with grill, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, toaster, and of course all crockery, cutlery, kitchen linen, cookware equipment (and other 'little extras') are also provided.

The homely dining and lounge area comprises of a dining table and chairs, comfortable sofa, wood burning stove, T.V and D.V.D player, C.D player and broadband internet. Books, games and D.V.Ds are also provided for cosy nights in or alternatively, we can arrange for a taxi to take you to one of the numerous local restaurants.

The lounge area opens out onto the private balcony from where Kites (Papagaios) can often be seen
circling. This leads on to the private roof terrace with dining table and chairs, barbecue and recliners.

Downstairs is the double bedroom which stays lovely and cool in the summer. Its exposed beams and open wooden staircase add to the cosy cottage ambience. There is a comfortable double bed and bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The pretty en-suite comprises of handbasin and bidet, W.C and shower, electric heater and heated towel rail. Towels and linen are provided and changed on a weekly basis.

The entire cottage, having been only recently completed, is very clean, comfortable and well presented.

Meals (If Available):
We can arrange for fresh morning rolls to be delivered daily upon request.

The closest bar serving snacks is a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive and there are numerous retaurants within a 5 to 15 minute drive.

Extras (if any):
Your hosts are on-hand to provide any information you may require about the local area or help you to book any excursions (e.g wine tours, health/beauty treatments or outdoor sports activities). We also have two mountain bikes available free of charge.

Our extremely generous neighbours often supply us with some lovely seasonal fruit and vegetables so don't be surprised to find the occasional bag of green beans/courgettes on the doorstep.

If you come at the right time of year you may even be able to help yourself to an orange or lemon from the little garden outside your bedroom window.
