In the heart of Portugal, between the Serra da Estrela and the Atlantic, is the 2 acre natural paradise Quinta Bamboo. The Quinta is located just 10 minutes from the river Mondego and is near one of the most beautiful natural parks in Portugal, Buçaco.

The accommodation consists of a bedroom with double bed, a single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and a cozy winter garden. There is a bathroom with toilet and shower as well as a separate toilet. The sun terrace invites you to laze around.

Nestled in the breathtaking countryside with olive, fig, mimosa-trees and gigantic bamboo is the spacious guest house, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

For camping, there are idyllic pitches for up to 5 tents.

The special feature of this paradise are the activities that can be enjoyed on site.

The owners are qualified and certified teachers of Yoga, Wing Chun and Tae Kwon-Do.

Daily yoga practice is offered, in individual or group lessons.
Also, if you wish, you are welcome to practice in all three disciplines in the
owners Academy in the 8 km far district town of Tabua. Special courses for children are offered.

In just 10 minutes by foot you can reach the picturesque village Povoa de Midões with it's 5 cafes, a restaurant and small supermarket.

Vegetarian food with fruit and vegetables from the organic garden is available. In addition guests can flavour their food with healthy herbs
from the garden.

The price includes gas, electricity and ADSL internet access.
Facilities include satellite TV, a washing machine and a barbecue.

Carregal do Sal is 8 kilometers away with daily train services to Coimbra, Lisboa and Porto.
Tabua buses can be booked in the same direction.
