Twin room, vegetarian B&B, near Monchique, Western Algarve.

Quinta Pintados is in the quiet hamlet of Chilrao, (15km from Monchique and 11 km from Marmelete), on the western slopes of Foia, in the Serra da Monchique. Perfect for those who want to take it easy, relax, unwind or meditate. Our road peters out into a rough track 50m from the house, connecting with many more mountain tracks, where one is free to wander, normally without seeing or hearing another person or vehicle.

The twin room has ensuite shower room, it's own separate entrance and outside sitting area (with uninterrupted views of the Serra). Guests have use of the adjoining dining room to make hot drinks, etc.

Our land is farmed organically, producing some of the food which is available to guests, as we can provide vegetarian and vegan meals on request. Also run as a small retreat centre, workshops and consulations are available, including Reiki healing, and art (monoprint and collage, watercolour painting).

We can arrange to collect guests from Faro airport and other local connections.

Meals (If Available):
Meals can be provided (given sufficient notice) at the following rates:
LUNCH - 6 euros - typically buffet style
DINNER - 9 euros - usually one significant main course with fresh fruit
(from the estate when in season) as starter or dessert.
Wine or beer and non-fruit desserts available at extra cost.
All meals are vegetarian, nearly always home cooked from fresh ingredients.
Other special diets can be catered for if we know about it in advance.

Extras (if any):
We have a small bathing pool supplied by mountain spring water, so guests can share it with frogs and things!

Prices in euros:
LOW Season (1st Nov to 31st March) - 20 per person per night.
MID Season (1st April to 15th June & 16th Sept to 31st Oct) - 25 per person per night.
HIGH Season (16th June to 15th Sept) - 30 per person per night.
no extra charge for single occupancy.
