Beautifully restored old farmhouse.

The 3 storey ancient farmhouse has been fully restored. It retains many original features and has 50cm thick stone walls.

The house is equipped with central heating with both gas and wood.

The renovated farmhouse comprises:
Ground floor: Wide kitchen with river-stone floor
First floor: bathroom, three further rooms, bright library with balcony
Third floor: two bedrooms

The quinta's grounds are circa 11,000m2 (1.1 hectares) - offering pleasant, private, and peaceful surroundings with include a small forest, fruit trees and centuries-old oaks, and plenty of space for agriculture and animals.

Located near the Serra da Lousã, Conimbriga, and the famous wine area of Bairrada, Quinta do Fidalgo is circa 170km from Lisbon and 50km from Coimbra. This region of the interior of Portugal offers the comfort of the proximity with important locations of Portugal and also the beauty and charm of landscapes that characterise this region.

Vegetarian meals available.

Extras (if any):
Massage, Indian cooking workshops, counseling/guidance for local explorations, assistance on planning Lisbon visit (for accommodation, for instance). This house is for sale, with Quinta do Fidalgo, and a rent to buy option is possible.

Prices in euros:
July and August: 500 per week.
Other times: 400 per week.
