Pretty stone cottage to sleep 6.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, both with twin beds.
The living room/dining room is comfortably furnished and has a bed settee (sleeps 2), 2 arm chairs and dining table and chairs. There is also a TV, DVD, VCR (a small video library is provided)and music centre. There are books, games and pamphlets on local places of interest. A heater is provided for winter use.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has a four ring gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. It has an open fireplace for winter use.
Fully tiled modern shower room with shower cubical, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin with vanity unit.
Outside there is an informal garden with traditional stone threshing circle, providing a terrace for relaxing, BBQing and enjoying views of the countryside.(outdoor furniture and BBQ provided).
There is also a 4.5M above ground pool, great for a refreshing dip on hot sunny days.
The local shop is 2 minutes walk and provides for all your basic needs. It also has a small bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine for 25c! The town of Ansião is only 5 minutes drive and has all the amenities you would expect from a market town, including a lively, weekly outdoor market on Saturday mornings. It also has a cinema showing original language films and an indoor swimming pool. In nearby Pombal there is an aqua-park.
The cottage is ideally situated for a relaxing break or for exploring the many and varied places of interest to visit in central Portugal. The breathtaking beauty of the Atlantic coastline is 45 minutes drive away.
Prices in euros:
1st to 30th April: 30 per night
1st May to 30th June: 40 per night
1st July - 31st August: 45 per night
1st Sept- 30th Sept: 40 per night
1st Oct - 31 Dec: 30 per night.
Minimum stay 3 nights.
We are offering 10% discount on the cost of the second week on bookings of 2 consecutive weeks (not applicable to July and August).
Prices are based on 2 person occupancy. There is an additional charge of 4 euros per extra person per night.
50% booking deposit.
Balance to be paid in full 28 days prior to holiday.
Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.
Use of washing machine.
An amount of firewood is provided during winter rentals.
Winter long lets:
450 euros per month. (electricity and firewood extra)
