Casa das Flores is a small family run Bed and Breakfast, 10 minutes from the historical town of Tomar, set in the green heart of portugal, with views of the country side, olive trees and vines.

Our beautiful Bed and Breakfast consists of 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms (family room prices also available) a cosy lounge with log fire for winter guests, Tv, and Internet, DVD's, and a book case for guests to borrow a book during they stay.

Evening meal can be arranged on request comprising of a 3 course meal with wine for 10 euros ahead. Vegetarian meals available and other dietary needs.

We have a lovely balcony for the guests to sit and relax and admire the unspoilt views, and a small pool with sun loungers. BBQ house with shade and seating area. Everyone is welcome to come and help pick the olives during Oct/Nov at the harvesting, ready to make the olive oil.

Casa Das Flores is a friendly family run house with a warm welcome.

There are a number of nature walks, plenty of bird watching to be seen.

Tomar is a very historical place with lots to see and do. Whether it is the unspoilt villages with their local festas, museums, The Knights Templar castle, roman ruins, the aqueducto dos pegoes, the world famous pilgrimage shrine at Fatima, Lake Zezere with its glorious scenery.

The beach resort of Nazare is just over an hour away by car.

The railway station of Fungalvaz is only a 5 minute walk with trains going to Lisbon and Porto daily.

Whatever your interests this beautiful part of Portugal will have something to offer and will add many surprises.

There are many bars and restaurants in the centre of Tomar – Traditional Portugese cooking, Italian, Chinese, the gardens and the river Nabao.

The wines and cheeses are especially excellent.

Meals (If Available):
Breakfast included. Evening meals served nightly, home grown organic veg, salad, and fruit, used as much as possible. Vegetarian and vegans meals also provided on request. Home made jams and preserves with breakfast.

Extras (if any):
Bicycles are available for hire 5 euros. Guided walks available. laundry service 4 euros. Taxi service 5 euros each way to Tomar and back. Picnic lunches can be provided for days out, or your trip back to the airport, for 5 euros.
