A beautiful bed and breakfast set in a small rural village in the unspoilt region of Santarem.
Our beautiful Bed and Breakfast consists of 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms (family room prices also available) a cosy lounge for the use of guests, sky T.V, a separate dining room for breakfast.
Evening meal can be arranged on request comprising of a 3 course meal with wine for 10 euros ahead. Vegetarian meals available and other dietary needs.
We have a lovely balcony for the guests to sit and relax and admire the unspoilt views, and a small pool with sun loungers and outside eating area.
Casa Das Flores is a friendly family run house with a warm welcome.
There are a number of nature walks and also fishing in the area.
Tomar is a very historical place with lots to see and do. Whether it is the unspoilt villages with their local festas, museums, The Knights Templar castle, roman ruins, the aqueducto dos pegoes, the world famous pilgrimage shrine at Fatima, Lake Zezere with its glorious scenery.
The beach resort of Nazare is just over an hour away by car.
The railway station of Fungalvaz is only a 5 minute walk with trains going to Lisbon and Porto daily.
Whatever your interests this beautiful part of Portugal will have something to offer and will add many surprises.
There are many bars and restaurants in the centre of Tomar – Traditional Portugese cooking, Italian, chinese and Indian cuisine.
The wines and cheeses are especially excellent.
Prices in euros:
Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb: 33 euros – double/twin room, 44 euros – family room.
Mar/Apr/May/June/Sept: 44 euros – double/twin room, 66 euros – family room
July/August: 55 euros – double/twin room, 77 euros – family room.
All rooms are priced per night.
Price includes – bed and breakfast, towels and towelling bath robes, weekly clean bedding change.
In winter months (Nov,Dec,Jan,Feb) heated room, hot water bottles, log fire and hot chocolate served for supper nightly.
Meals:
Breakfast included. Evening meal available. Home grown fruit and veg. available.
Vegetarian option possible.
Extras:
Bicycles are available for hire.
