A-Chamine operates as a centre for all people- whether just needing a coffee or a beer, a glass of wine with a tasty home made Pizza- a room for a few nights or a week or two- or seeking Spiritual Reality in Secular surroundings!
Life in A-Chamine is a spontaneous flowing happening- Music & Song, Yoga & Meditation, random acts of Art & Dance- walks in the beautiful surrounding nature- sightings of Otters, Eagles, Mongoose, Javali (Wild Boar), Bee Eaters, Golden oriel etc. are every day occurances as the River Bank is on our doorstep. The Santa Clara Lake with some of the purest waters in Europe is a Short Hike or a very short car ride away- The best swimming ever!! The area is excellent for Hiking, Cycling & Canoeing also Fishing for those less gentle types!! Artists & Photographers have plenty to occupy their senses. The local restaurants provide excellent traditional Portuguese fayre for all resident carnivores!!- We also run a Nutritional Club for all people wishing to either: lose weight; gain muscle mass; gain more energy & creativity; achieve clarity of mind etc.If you are interested in any of our Healing activities please ask in advance as we also run workshops.
The small & simple booklet 'Samadhi- Evolution of Soul' is available for buying or reading- it is an account of a modern day experience of 'Enlightenment'. & explains how this experience of 'Enlightenment' is available, not only for Buddha & Jesus- but for us all.
Prices in euros:
Double en-suite room: 25 per night, 150 per week.
Twin room + bathroom just outside the door: 25 per night, 150 per week.
Meals:
Delicious breakfasts can be provided for 3.50 euros per person per day.
Vegetarian/ vegan meals can be provided if requested at least 24 hrs in advance.
Pizzas & delicious Toasties almost always available- other meals cooked on request only.
A-Chamine only caters vegetarian & vegan food (nearby restaurants cater for carnivores).
Extras:
Healings, Chakra Balancing- guided Meditations etc given if requested at least 24 hrs in advance- painting, clay modeling, nature walks etc can happen at any moment! If you have no car Xicca Frances may be persuaded to take you on a sight seeing tour of the region.
We have Cabo Tv which has english & american movies. Also BBC prime, CNN, Euro News, Sky news etc.
