Ideal for those on family holidays - leave your children in experienced, capable hands for a fun afternoon or morning, a whole day, or 3 days camping and donkey riding, whilst parents can do their own thing!

The quinta is situated in Lourosa, just off the N17.

At the Quinta we offer a 'Pets Corner' with rabbits, guinea pigs, baby goats, sheep, ducks & chickens, where adults & children can handle & feed the animals and learn all aspects of looking after them. We also have a giant tortoise garden with two types of breeds from Africa. The tortoises are laying eggs so normally there are baby tortoises to see.

There is also donkey riding & carts.

Donkey Club Camp 3 days of donkey riding and camping: on the first day get to know & learn to ride a donkey, on the second day go for a trek down to the river to the camp & BBQ, on the third day trek back to the quinta.

All activities are with experienced adult supervision at all times.

Quinta do Sonho is the base of Animais Animal Rescue Centre
and is seeking volunteers
