Secluded lakeside villa with private swimming pool - sleeps up to 10. Set in six acres of countryside, overlooking a spectacular river and surrounded by an extensive conservation area.

Casa da Roda has a large, fully equipped, farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room opening onto a verandah overlooking the lake with a further dining table for alfresco eating; a comfortable lounge with double sofa bed and wood burner (opens onto verandah overlooking the lake); a bathroom with bath/shower, wc and wash basin. 2 bedrooms: one double (with an ensuite shower room, wash basin, wc and bidet) and one twin bedded which can convert to a king size double.

The upper level of the holiday villa is open plan with satellite tv, stereo, playstation and dvd. The upper level can be converted into a sleeping area with 2 single beds or 1 double sofa bed with clothes hanging facilities.
The upper level opens onto a balcony with spectacular views of the lake valley - a perfect spot to relax with a drink and watch the sunset over the water.

A private salt water swimming pool is available for your sole use with sun loungers, tables and chairs and a poolside shower, along with a jacuzzi and a steam box. A stroll through the grounds of Casa da Roda will take you to the lakeside for swimming, fishing and boating. You will also find information booklets on the area and a library of books for your use.

A supermarket and café/bar can be found 4km away at Sarnadela. The town of Arganil is 10km and has a weekly market (Thursday morning), supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, etc.

The (English) owners live on the neighbouring property and are available to help with anything you need.

Casa da Roda provides accommodation for Thrustforth Motorcycle Holidays Luxury adventure touring in Central Portugal.

Meals (If Available):
A welcome pack will be provided free of charge upon arrival to include basics such as milk, bread, cheese, butter, eggs, etc.
Local wine and beer is also included in the welcome pack.
