On our Quinta you could be touched by the first sunbeams.... You could be sitting next to the wood stove comfortably reading a book … Be staring out of the window watching the green valleys.

Or in summertime melt away in the shade on the terrace next to the bathing pool filled with water from our well … taking a refreshing dip every once in a while and then plunge back into the cushions again.

Take beautiful walks through the valleys and over the hills with endless views of the Serra da Estrella … Serra do Açor, and the Caramulo Mountains.

You'll hear the nightingale sing his song from April until June from dusk till afternoon. See the buzzard high in the sky, watch the free chicken family scratch the dirt and see the horses play.

Or you could take excursions to Coimbra … Porto … the coastal area of Aveiro, through beautiful mountain villages like Manteigas or Sabougeira to the ´Torre´, the highest mountaintop of Portugal continental.

Visit the museum in the Caramulo Mountains where cars, motor or art lovers will be delighted.

Be active and do some kayaking on the river Alva, climb mountains, hike or rent one of our mountain bikes (VIPER) and do some nice trails with map. Of course there is also Horse riding: We have the possibility for experienced and non experienced riders to go out for a ride on horse back and enjoy the beautiful region.

You can enjoy a relaxing massage to relax body and mind , we do a combination of Swedish and Thai massage,

Or you could just stay home on your terrace in the rocking chair enjoying a glass of wine and the peace around you…

The Guest house

When you enter the guest house, the comfy sofa is awaiting you. If you still have lots of energy and love to cook, the gas cooker with its oven is smiling at you. Or take a nice hot or cold shower, soap and towels are provided.

When you see those little round windows upstairs and wonder what they hide, you just go up and find your comfortable ready-made bed waiting to take you to dreamland. If there are more than two people, we have a couch for two extra persons and downstairs another room for another 3 people.

Meals (If Available):
On request we'll serve you the best breakfast outside in the sunshine, underneath the bread oven-terrace or inside the guest house when it's too cold...

Mountain bike hire:
15 euros per day.
Horse-riding:
13 euros per hour.

Prices per day/2 persons for the complete guest house:
55 euros (all year round). The house can accommodate 6 people.

Prices per day/2 persons for the apartment upstairs:
40 euros (all year round). The apartment has space for up to 4 people.

Prices per day/ 2 persons for the room downstairs:
25 euros (all year round). The room has space for up to 3 people.

10 euros per person per night (more than 2).

The room downstairs doesn´t have private bathroom or kitchen.

Kids aged up to 2 years are free, and up to 8 years 50% discount.

Bookings: 30% initial payment on reservation and 70% on arrival.
