Situated in forest just 3 minutes walk down to the Rio Mondego. A perfect setting for relaxing, painting, fishing etc.
Our village Povoa dos Mosqueiros is just a short walk through the forest.
We are approx 6km. from the lovely old, granite town of Santa Comba
Dao situated on the Rio Dao, 60 km from the city of Coimbra.
There is a main railway station at Sta. Comba Dao.
There are trains available from either Porto or Lisbon airport either
one is approx a 2.5 hr journey to Santa Comba Dao where we would be
happy to meet you. We can give you more detailed travel instructions
when you have booked your holiday.
ACCOMODATION
A double bedroom with twin beds. This has a verranda with lovely views
of our valley and the river.
Shower room.
Kettle + tea, coffee etc

CAMPING
Tenters are welcome to camp either in our valley or on one of our
terraces all with excellent views of the forest and river.
Toilet and washing facilaties are available in the house + outdoor shower.
Prices in euros:
Per couple, per night 40
1 person, per night 35
Camping 50 per tent per week plus 35 per person
Meals:
Price includes breakfast.
Extras:
A tent can be hired for 70 euros per week
